Holistic Riding Equestrian Therapy

Holistic Riding Equestrian Therapy offers therapeutic riding for preschoolers on ponies and for independent riders on program horses. Classes are approximately an hour long and include grooming and bonding time, with private, semi-private, and group classes available year-round. The program also offers horse and pony therapeutic riding and activities.

About the provider

Holistic Riding Equestrian Therapy says its mission is to empower the lives of individuals with varied physical, emotional, cognitive, and social abilities through the spirit of the horse. Its directors and instructors are certified through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) International.

By appointment only. The program strives to accommodate every rider and says it will never turn anyone away. Cost can be a barrier, and rider sponsorships can help a rider start and continue experiencing the empowerment of the horse.
