Royals FC offers soccer for youth, including private one-on-one coaching sessions. The program includes both general soccer activities and individual coaching focused on the sport.

Head coaches for Royals FC are Steve Jones, Mike Larrea, Jakub Sadowski, and Skyla Jones. One staff member is a certified referee. Royals FC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth soccer organization. The organization describes itself as community run, with coaches who are described as “proper Football (Soccer) players” who either still play or have gone through the program, and it uses SportsEngine for team communication. Royals FC offers private, one-on-one coaching sessions that it states are designed to bridge the gap between recreational and travel football.
According to its mission statement, Royals FC aims to coach soccer, also referred to as proper football, with a focus on elevating youth in the community by creating a positive environment and coaching team mentality within a social hub. The mission statement also says the program seeks to reinforce an individual’s ability to work on self and to offer affordable encouragement for personal and professional development so youth can become active role models in their communities and beyond. The vision in the mission statement is to bring communities together around a common love. One leader’s background notes that after arriving in the United States 20 years ago, he came to terms with a name change, and this did not discount his passion for the sport.
Royals FC states that it works closely with Sting FC out of Orland Park, Illinois, to match players with teams and coaching, and also works with Chicago Fire FC to show young players that there is an opportunity locally to become a professional player.
