LoMastro Performing Arts Academy

LoMastro Performing Arts Academy offers Parent & Child Classes for ages 4 months–2 years with movement, music, and connection alongside a caregiver. It also offers Enrichment Club for ages 2–5 with active play, tumbling, yoga, dance, music, art, and imaginative drama, plus Early Childhood Dance & Tumbling for ages 2–6 with dance and tumbling in a playful, developmentally appropriate setting. For older students, the academy offers Dance Division, Tumbling / Acro, Musical Theatre, Pom / Dance Team, and Adult Fitness & Dance Classes.

Programs

• Parent & Child Classes — Ages 4 months–2 years · Introduces infants and toddlers to movement, music, and connection alongside a caregiver.

• Early Childhood Dance & Tumbling — Ages 2–6 · Foundational dance and tumbling in a playful, developmentally appropriate setting.
• Dance Division — Ages 6–18 · Level-based dance training including Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary-Modern, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Theater Dance, Conditioning, Pom/Dance Team, and PBT.
• Tumbling / Acro — Ages 6–18 · Acro program following the Acrobatic Arts syllabus, emphasizing strength, flexibility, balance, control, and safe skill progression.
• Musical Theatre — Ages 5+ · Training in acting, voice, and stage movement with performance opportunities throughout the year.
• Pom / Dance Team — Ages 6+ · High-energy performance and precision-based training; includes Dance Team Training and Pom Company options.
• Adult Fitness & Dance Classes — Adults · Adult classes including hip-hop, ballet, jazz/lyrical, contemporary/lyrical, tap, and musical theatre.

LoMastro Performing Arts Academy in Lake Forest provides joyful, confidence-building performing arts education grounded in exceptional, curriculum-based training. Families choose LoMastro because they want their child to feel confident, supported, and professionally guided from day one.

New students may enroll online in age based programs. If a class requires placement, families should contact 847-615-5400 to discuss the appropriate class level. Returning students should enroll in pre-approved class levels. Program enrollment is for the full season, September - May. Some select programs are offered in shorter sessions. A 4-week intro program/trial is mentioned. The academy has a main location at 840 S. Waukegan Road, Lake Forest, IL 60045 and a satellite location at Gorton Community Center, 400 East Illinois, Lake Forest, IL 60045.
