About
SRACLC Day Camps and School Days Off Programs include high-energy group games, themed crafts, water play, field trips, swimming, singing and dancing, and outdoor play. Each day is planned to have outings and high-energy group play, and campers have outdoor play each day. Campers swim twice a week in the afternoons.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Programming runs Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with three-week sessions available as full day, AM only, or PM only, plus Friday options and mini camps.
The programs are geared towards children with special needs or disabilities, or those who have better success in smaller groups with more supervision. Programs for School Days Off and Mini Camps are geared towards children with special needs and disabilities during spring break, winter break, and other national holidays, and are offered to support a scheduled day to keep students in their routine. Programs for School Days Off are structured with high-energy group games, themed crafts, water play, field trips, and swimming, and transportation is not available currently for camp. The Special Recreation Association of Central Lake County provides recreation programs and services to individuals with special needs or disabilities, and their families, who reside within the boundaries of Member Agency communities.
