Youth Programs at Royal Melbourne Country Club include activities such as golf, racquet sports, swimming, swim lessons, arts and crafts, Fun with Foods, STEM, and Junior Friday night events. Children can take part in Camp Royal, Tiny Tots, Junior Tennis, Junior Chicagoland Swim Team, Junior Sports Academy, Tennis School, Wacky Wednesday, Thankful Thursday, pool parties, cookouts, and family events. Camp Royal participants receive professional golf, swim, and tennis lessons, as well as fun and healthy lunches.

• Schedule: Weekly sessions with options Tuesday–Thursday
• Price: Weekly Tuition: Members, $375. A one-time non-refundable $45 registration fee includes two camp shirts.
The Junior Sports Academy is designed for 10–12 year olds moving up from Camp Royal and features a structured environment with a focus on being active, sports, teamwork, setting goals, positivity, sportsmanship, and respect for others. Camp Royal is offered from June through August for ages 4–12, and Tiny Tots is offered from June through August for ages 2–4. Camps are open to children or grandchildren of members and members’ guests, and campers are led by energetic and skilled counselors. The Junior Golf Program places emphasis on FUNdamentals and Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS), and the Junior Tennis program and Junior Chicagoland Swim Team are part of the youth offerings. The racquet sports program is run by an experienced Head Tennis Professional, and participants can also access professional golf, swim, and tennis lessons.
