Director Kevin Brylski leads Illinois Juniors Volleyball Club Training Programs. The stated mission is to provide an athletic experience that is judgment free, leads with love, and supports growth on and off the court, with a focus on building self-confidence, self-esteem, character, and resiliency through the experience of competition. The program describes its environment as focused and friendly, with an emphasis on athletes having fun, feeling empowered, and developing a passion for personal growth through volleyball, and it highlights training as a way to develop character, resiliency, mental toughness, and confidence needed in competition. Illinois Juniors notes that its training program focuses on pushing athletes to fulfill their potential and giving them confidence to be a great teammate inside of competition, and it cites the quote, “No one's ever gotten better by practicing less,” from Hall of Fame quarterback Ron Jaworski. The club is involved with partners including CANLAN SPORTS, BADGER REGION, GREAT LAKES REGION, AVCA, USAV, JVA, AAU VOLLEYBALL, SPORTSENGINE, and AES, and it references an award that recognizes indoor athletes from JVA supportive clubs for outstanding achievement on the volleyball court, as well as athletes named to the 2025 JVA Watchlist for outstanding achievement on the volleyball court.
