About
Camp Patriot offers a mix of art, cooking, dance, drama, music, sports, STEM projects, swimming, archery, fishing, and crafts. Campers take part in daily swim lessons that are taught by teachers from the Patriot Aquatic Club along with camp staff. Lunch and snacks are provided for all campers, and if a child does not want the provided lunch, parents are asked to pack a nut-free, non-perishable lunch.
• Ages: Entering kindergarten–eighth grade in the fall
• Schedule: Camper drop off is between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m., with optional before camp care starting at 7:00 a.m. and after camp care available until 6:00 p.m.
• Price: In order to register, families must make at least a 10% down payment per session, with the balance automatically charged in equal increments over the next few months; an early bird discount of 10% is automatically applied at checkout through Thanksgiving.
Camp Patriot is open to all campers who are entering kindergarten through eighth grade in the fall and welcomes everyone regardless of race, religion, gender, orientation, country of origin, or color of skin. Staff-to-camper ratios are kept around 1:6 during the day and are even lower during specialized activities. Seasonal staff is made up of high school and college-aged counselors, called Role Models, and some specialized activities are led by Stevenson High School teachers and coaches. The leadership team includes Isaac Brubaker, PREP Community Education Manager and PREP Manager.
Camp Patriot registration for summer 2026 is open, and the camp begins hiring staff every November for the following summer. The camp has a stated mission: “We don't have to be the biggest camp around; we just want to be the best. Every day we'll work to make sure that your kids get an experience unlike anywhere else!” The camp aims to get one great picture of every camper every day for parents, with photos posted on Perfect Mind for registrants and additional pictures shared daily on Facebook and Instagram pages. Families are encouraged to label camper items, and Mabel’s Labels offers labeling options, including items that go in the dishwasher, with Camp Patriot available in their “Select Your Camp” dropdown menu.
