Stacey De & Company

Stacey De & Company offers private music lessons in piano, guitar, voice, drums, violin, saxophone, bass guitar, ukulele, trombone, percussion, and woodwinds, as well as adult music lessons. The program also offers acting classes, group acting classes, children’s musical theatre, theatre productions, fully-staged all-children musical productions twice a year, youth rock band seminars, a TOTS class, on-camera work, voice-over coachings, audition techniques, vocal coaching for auditions, public speaking engagements, and college audition preparation. The school also runs specific drama programs such as St. Pets - Drama Program for 3rd–8th grade and St. Joan of Arc Lisle - Drama Program for 5th–8th grade, along with String Extravaganzas and other productions.

The school has offered lessons and classes for over 30 years. Private lessons are offered on a month-to-month basis with no semester minimums, and early morning and lunchtime lessons are available for home schoolers, retirees, college students, and working professionals. Lesson rooms are fully stocked with amps, full drum kits with pads, keyboards, pianos, and other equipment, and beginning drum students can use a drum pad and sticks and the studio drum set for lessons, while piano students can start at home with an electric keyboard that has regular-sized, touch-sensitive keys. Teachers have teaching experience, a degree in music, or extensive performing experience. The program is a licensee of The Musical Ladder System, which includes opportunities for students to earn colored wristband bracelets, trophies, and certificates, and it offers quarterly performance weeks, bi-annual recitals including a specific adult performance, and several competitions throughout the year.
