About
Lombard Park District Day Camp offers a full-day camp program that includes arts and crafts, sports, games, various enriching activities, and swim time. Campers can also participate in Sunrise Camp and Sunset Camp for extended care outside of regular day camp hours.
• Ages: 6–14 years old
• Schedule: Regular Day Camp hours are 9:00 am–4:00 pm, with Sunrise Camp from 7:00–9:00 am and Sunset Camp from 4:00–6:00 pm
• Price: Late registration may be accepted if capacity has not been exceeded and is subject to a $15 late fee per child; R/NR fees must be paid prior to attending Sunrise or Sunset Camp
Junior Camp swim times are Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 11:30 am–1:30 pm, and Senior Camp swim times are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11:30 am–1:30 pm. Teen Camp swim times are Wednesday and Thursday from 1:00–3:00 pm. Junior Camp field trips take place on Wednesdays, Senior Camp field trips on Mondays, and Teen Camp field trips on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Parent meetings are offered on May 13 or May 15 from 6:00–7:00 pm, and registration deadlines occur on the Wednesday before the week the child is registering for. Registration is available online or by dropping off a registration form, and it is on a first-come, first-serve basis, with waitlisted registrants taken off the waitlist in the order they were registered. Sunrise and Sunset Camp are available for campers who need to be dropped off or picked up outside of regular operating hours.
The Lombard Park District asks parents to provide additional snacks for their child and to inform their child of transportation arrangements. The Lombard Park District will only release campers to individuals listed on the information sheet for both Day Camp and Sunrise/Sunset Camp, and parents are asked to keep this information accurate throughout the summer. The mission of the Lombard Park District is “Providing quality recreation opportunities for all to enjoy life.” The Lombard Park District has received the Illinois Distinguished Accredited Agency Award, the GFOA Budget Award, and recognition for Excellence in Financial Reporting.
