The program also includes integrated character development lessons and makes agreements with students as part of its process.
The mission of Chicago Swim School is to prevent drowning by teaching children and their families to be safer around all types of water. The program includes additional steps to educate parents on practices that create a safer swim experience for their whole family. It encourages continual feedback between parents and instructors as part of its approach. The school offers an industry leading guarantee that students in StarKids group classes will achieve a new skill between 3–5 hours of instruction or receive additional lessons for free.
