Camp Naper Summer Day Camps offers themed sessions where campers take part in adventures in history, art, science, and more, including time-travel adventures, thrilling games, and creating historical crafts. Depending on the session, campers may do hands-on experiments, tackle mysterious science challenges, unravel scientific secrets, investigate the “infected,” test soils, engineer defenses, explore diverse ecosystems, encounter fascinating creatures, and engage in hands-on outdoor fun. Other sessions focus on designing, coding, and conquering challenges with robots; stitching and sewing their own creations; investigating the riches of nature and renewable resources; exploring marine science through hands-on activities and engineering challenges; learning survival techniques; and diving into history, art, and nature.

• Ages: 6–17 years old
• Schedule: Camp hours are 9 AM–3 PM with early drop off available at 8 AM at no additional fee; most sessions run five days, with select robotics and sewing sessions running three days.
• Price: $250–$350 per session, with a $25 discount on five-day camps for Settlement-4 members and above.

Most listed camps run as five-day sessions on June 1–5, June 8–12, June 15–19, June 22–26, July 6–10, or July 13–17, and Robotics I, Robotics II, and Sew Cool Camp run as three-day sessions from June 29–July 1. Naper Settlement, which runs Camp Naper Summer Day Camps, is an award-winning, outdoor history museum that offers 13 acres of educational programs, exhibits, guided tours, and special events, including interactive exhibits such as Building Naperville: Tallgrass Prairie to Today and the Thresher Experience, a blacksmith forge, and a one-room schoolhouse. Naper Settlement states that visitors are immersed in history as they learn about the past and how it relates to the present, and in 2026 it is commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence with a year-long celebration of the American spirit that includes programs, events, and hands-on experiences for visitors of all ages.
