Huntington Learning Center Tutoring & Test Prep offers support in math, reading, writing, science, study skills, phonics, and vocabulary. The program also includes exam preparation for tests such as the ACT, SAT, PSAT, Advanced Placement (AP), High School Entrance Exam (HSEE), Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT), High School Placement Test (HSPT), Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE), ASVAB, GED, and various state and local tests. Founded in 1977, Huntington Learning Center Tutoring & Test Prep is a family-owned company and was the first tutoring provider in its industry. The leadership team includes Co-Founders Eileen Huntington and Dr. Raymond Huntington, and President and CEO Anne Huntington Sharma. The program’s mission is to give every student the best education possible. Certified teachers use Huntington’s accredited programs and a data-driven approach, and the organization has earned accreditation by the Middle States Association. Reported average results include growth of 2 or more grade levels in reading and math, an average increase of 5.4 or more points on the ACT, and an average increase of 229 or more points on the SAT. Each student receives a Comprehensive Academic Evaluation, a personalized tutoring plan with customized learning, and ongoing feedback and progress reports, and families can also use the HuntingtonHelps LIVE online tutoring and test prep platform. Huntington Learning Center of Naperville is an education partner with local schools and districts, including through public-private partnerships that provide high-dosage tutoring supported by state scholarship grants. Eileen and Ray Huntington have received the Education Industry Association’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Award, and Huntington has received high accolades from a third-party study of its No Child Left Behind services in Chicago.
