Children's Day Out is a program for children age 1 year by June 1, and ages 2 through 4 by Sept. 1. It meets Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, for one or two days per week. Each child should bring a non-perishable lunch and a drink, and the program provides a snack.

About the provider
Children's Day Out operates as a ministry of Knox Presbyterian Church. Its mission is to help children grow socially and emotionally in a loving and nurturing setting where they learn about themselves and their world, communicate with others and live in Christian community. Beth Burner is the Director of Children's Day Out, and Megan Minor is the Assistant Director. The program is registered with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services as a license exempt program that conforms with the Illinois Child Care Act, 1969, as amended: sections 7.1, 377.4, and 2.10. It also has yearly fire and health clearances.
Admits children of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin. Children with food allergies must have an Allergy Action Plan on file. If symptoms of illness are present home is the best remedy. Children should be fever free for 24 hours before returning to CDO. Will NOT administer any over the counter medication to any child.
