Edge Music Academy offers music lessons for all ages in person and virtually. It lists guitar lessons for students of all ages and skill levels, along with piano, ukulele, bass guitar, voice, and drum/percussion lessons. It also offers performance bands, in-studio lessons, and virtual lessons.

About the provider

Edge Music Academy was founded in 2021. Its leadership team includes founder Jason Thompson, and the Artistic Director and Area Director review assigned homework and curriculum implementation. The school says every teacher passes a rigorous audition on each instrument they teach, and most teachers have taught elsewhere previously. It also has a philanthropic arm that built and maintains free instrument libraries at multiple public libraries, and classes are offered at partnership locations such as libraries and park districts.

Tuition is due by the first lesson of each month via autopay in the student portal. Students receive notes and practice tracking each lesson. Makeups are offered through a 24/7 student portal. Students can sign up for an in-studio lesson or virtual lessons.
