About
Emagination STEM Camps offers hands-on technology activities including coding, video game design, robotics, animation, and graphic design, along with traditional camp activities and recreation. Campers can choose from over 20 STEM course options and personalize their schedules with four courses during each two-week session. The program offers both day and overnight summer camp options and blends technology projects with classic camp-style recreation.

Since 1982, Emagination STEM Camps has welcomed campers from across the globe as a family-owned and operated company for more than 40 years. Technology instructors are young adults in college or graduate school for computer science, engineering, game design, and digital arts, with experience in the latest technologies and software. In-residence staff members provide supervision and support for campers, and the company has established additional protocols to maintain safe, healthy campuses. The programs are designed to foster personal growth and help campers develop new skills and interests.
If a child requires an aide during the school year, a camp aide is required while on an Emagination campus, and parents are asked to let the camp know about any special accommodations or dietary considerations before completing registration. One alumnus, now a software engineer at Meta, shared that attending Emagination made him realize there were more people interested in software and technology and that it helped turn a vague interest in tech into a real passion. A parent from Illinois reported that her child returned from camp with rave reviews, had a fabulous time, met many new friends, and wanted to go back the next year.
