Learning Is Fun Preschool

Learning Is Fun Preschool offers free arts and science classes as part of its program. The program includes enrichment programs for all students at no additional cost and extended enrichment class options.

Learning Is Fun Preschool has been serving families and the community since 1974. The staff is described as experienced and dedicated, with extra staff available and a teacher–student ratio of 1:10, and 1:5 for many activities. The program states that parents and family are the greatest influence in a child’s life and that the staff works in partnership with families to teach, mold, encourage, and love the children in their care, and identifies itself as specialists in preschool education and development. Learning Is Fun Preschool is licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and follows the Illinois Early Learning Standards established by the Illinois State Board of Education, Division of Early Childhood Education. It is chartered by the federal government as a not-for-profit educational center. There are a number of forms that are required before a child can start school.

Parents have shared that they are impressed with the academics and personalized approach, and that small class sizes with a maximum of ten children allow for individual attention. One parent notes that the teacher is readily available and responsive to questions and concerns, and another shares that their child looks forward to school every day.
