FlipStar Gymnastics Academy

FlipStar Gymnastics Academy offers recreational gymnastics, competitive gymnastics, tumbling, ninja classes, acro classes, clinics, private lessons, open gyms, parties, camps, and special events. The program takes place in a state-of-the-art facility which offers many different programs for children.

• Ages: 0–18 years old
• Schedule: Front desk hours Monday–Thursday 9am–2pm and 4pm–7:30pm, and Friday 4pm–9pm; recreational classes closed from December 29 to January 4, with classes resuming January 5, 2026
• Price: No membership fees, 20% sibling discounts, 50% off additional classes, with a flat rate for tuition each month

FlipStar Gymnastics Academy has been in operation for over 20 years. The program states that the sport of gymnastics promotes high self-esteem, helps develop hand-eye coordination, and enhances physical abilities that directly carry over to other sports; it also improves balance and coordination and increases flexibility and strength in children. The academy notes that it is known for having the cleanest facility in the area and that the health and wellbeing of students is priority number one. Its mission is to provide life-skill based, healthy youth-centric instruction and empowerment that raises the self esteem of all athletes from any background, and its vision is to protect the integrity of youth sports and support the longevity of each individual's athletic career. All coaching staff are safety-certified and background checked. Working at FlipStar requires all staff to enroll in a multi-phase, multi-week training program to get started, and staff are background checked, onboarded, and trained for 4–8 weeks before leading classes.
