About

Children's Theatre Co. offers musical theater performance classes, preschool acting, and weekly classes that include programs such as Musical Theatre Tot & Storybook Adventures, the Young Performers Program, and the Performance Program. The program also runs summer performance camps, day-off programs, and The Spotlight Collective – an invitation-only showcase class where each student receives a carefully chosen monologue and song that align with their strengths and leaves with a polished monologue and song for auditions. Many sessions conclude with a live showcase performance for families and guests, and every child has a role in the performances, with small-group instruction and shows described as designed for joy and growth.

In 1992, Margo Lerner-Proeh was working on an original production that needed kids, and more than 30 years later she runs the Children’s Theatre Company. The program’s mission states that it believes the performing arts have the power to inspire, transform, and shape confident, thoughtful young people, and that its mission is to provide a platform for children to shine, develop skills, build friendships, and connect with a vibrant, creative community.
