Northfield Park District Summer Camps

Northfield Park District Summer Camps offers Giggle Gang, Trailblazers, Sports Camp, and Explorers for ages 3 years old through 8th grade. It also offers a Counselor in Training Program for kids entering grades 6th through 9th. Camp newsletters are posted on Fridays by 3pm, and the camp weeks run from June 15 through August 7, 2026.

• Trailblazers — ages 3 years old - 8th grade · Trailblazers and Sports Camp field trips are full day this summer; no half day registrations are permitted for those two camps on Wednesdays.

• Counselor in Training Program — kids entering grades 6th - 9th

About the provider

Northfield Park District was established by referendum in 1957 as a special purpose unit of government under the Illinois Park District Code. Its mission is to serve residents by supervising the usage and maintenance of park resources and by offering facilities, programs, and activities designed to meet leisure and recreational needs.

No half day registrations are permitted for Trailblazers and Sports Camp on Wednesdays. A 3% service fee is applied to all credit/debit card transactions.
