North Shore Art League Youth Classes

North Shore Art League Youth Classes includes Kids’ Hand-Building with Clay, Drawing to Painting, Drawing to Painting - Extended Time: Independent Study, Meet the Masters, Clayworks for Kids, Mixed Media FUN!, POP-Up! Art Studio, and Saturday Morning Artists. The classes include hand-building with pinch pots, slabs, and coils; drawing and painting with color mixing and basic techniques; clay work with stamps, textures, glaze painting, carving, and sculpting; and projects using painting, clay, sculpture, collage, prints, and other materials.

• Drawing to Painting — 8-11 years · Mon, 4:30-6:00 pm · $416 · Develops drawing skills, then moves into painting with color mixing and basic techniques.
• Drawing to Painting - Extended Time: Independent Study — 12-14 years · Mon, ends at 6:30 pm · $466 · Independent study for 12-14 year olds with an extra 30 minutes in a more one-on-more atmosphere.
• Meet the Masters — 7-12 years · Tue, 4:30-5:45 pm · $416 · Students create artworks inspired by famous artists while exploring various techniques and art history.
• Clayworks for Kids — 8-12 years · Wed, 4:30-6:00 pm · $335 · Clay class using hand-building techniques, stamps, textures, glaze painting, carving, and sculpting.
• Mixed Media FUN! — 6-12 years · Thu, 4:30-5:45 pm · $360 · Experiment with a variety of mediums and techniques; projects may include painting, clay, sculpture, collage, and more.
• POP-Up! Art Studio — 5-8 years · Fri, 4:30-5:45 pm · $388 · Young artists draw, paint, sculpt, make prints, collages, and more; each week is inspired by a different artist.
• Saturday Morning Artists — 7-11 years · Sat, 10:30 am-12:00 pm · $388 · Students draw, paint, sculpt, and explore different materials and techniques.
