The Plainfield Soccer Association Recreation Program includes a Recreation Program, a Recreation League, Little Grasshoppers - Spring Program, 2024 Summer Camps, and a Travel Program that is branded as Plainfield United Soccer Club. The recreational program includes more than 3,000 players. Players in the program work with Plainfield United SC USSF qualified coaches.
The Plainfield Soccer Association traces its roots back to 1982. The organization’s recreational program began with PSA using park district fields and a few soccer balls, with a group of volunteers providing organizational skills, coaching, and referees. Kathy Ayres serves as the Administrator for PSA and Plainfield United.
