Vertical Extreme is described as providing high-energy fun in a safe, structured, Christian environment and a Christ-centered summer experience for students entering 1st–6th grade. The camp states that attendance is a privilege and that students must be in good standing at their current school, verified by reference, in order to register. The staff includes qualified teachers and energetic college students who enjoy working with kids and making summer both fun and meaningful. For years, Vertical Extreme has brought exciting experiences and summer memories to families in the community. The program notes that it is not licensed or regulated by DCFS.
Families utilizing Community Child Care Connection must submit a copy of current benefits with registration and complete a change of provider form before the start date. The registration checklist includes downloading the VE Summer 2026 Application and Registration packet, reviewing the Vertical Extreme Handbook, Contract, and Ergadoozy Waiver, completing the online application and registration, printing and signing the Ergadoozy Waiver (required annually), completing a Free & Reduced Lunch Application if applicable, and paying the non-refundable Activity Fee and first week’s tuition. The camp states that it is actively exploring additional options to accommodate more families, with current limitations related to staffing and transportation capacity, and asks families to be praying with them as they work to provide a safe, fun, Christ-centered summer experience for Springfield-area students.
