LUX Dance Studio

LUX Dance Studio offers private lessons, group classes, workshops, and wedding dance instruction, including choreographed first wedding dances and flash mob routines. Owner and dance instructor Debbie Wiess attended high school as a dance major at The Chicago Academy for the Arts and trained for a time in New York City before returning to Chicago. Debbie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Columbia University of Chicago and a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Roosevelt University while dancing professionally in downtown Chicago. The stated goal at LUX Dance Studio is to make dancing fun, educational, and exhilarating, with an emphasis on replacing fear with fun for people trying something new.
