Forest View Farms

Forest View Farms offers horseback riding lessons, trail rides, pony rides, and driving lessons in both English and Western styles. The program also includes a petting farm and petting zoo, hay rides, sleigh rides, carriages, coaches, and other horse-drawn vehicles, as well as a tack shop and horses for sale. Forest View Farms hosts group events such as birthday parties, field trips, a Fall Festival, and a haunted hay ride featuring the Headless Horseman, and it also offers boarding and a summer camp.

Since the 1950s, Forest View Farms has been bringing people and horses together in a friendly environment at affordable prices. It is described as “Your Local Family-Friendly Horse Farm and Petting Farm.” The Equestrian Center caters to both English and Western styles of riding, offers driving lessons and training in both styles, and includes breeding that specializes in white stallions. Forest View Farms has a heated barn, a heated indoor arena for year-round riding, two outdoor arenas, and several areas for turnout, and it is contiguous to the Cook County Forest Preserve with direct access to miles of forest preserve trails.
