About

Crayola Imagine Arts Academy of the Chicago Western and Southwestern Suburbs offers summer camps, after-school programs, birthday parties, and community workshops. The program includes themed activities such as a Magical Creatures art party, where each child is encouraged to put their own creative spin on their project. After-school programs and camps use art projects to introduce real-world topics such as careers in art and design, cultural diversity and awareness, and wildlife and habitat conservation.

• Ages: 5–12 years old

Crayola Imagine Arts Academy was founded in 2016 and began franchising in 2019, and it is a Montreal-based company with more than 20 locations across North America. All instructors have prior experience working with children, and every team member goes through a rigorous screening process that includes a thorough background check. The organization follows a rigorous 3-stage testing process for its programs that goes through kid approval at every phase. Its mission is to inspire children through art by developing their creativity and critical thinking, with a focus on Art with Purpose and on teaching foundational art techniques alongside creative problem-solving and real-world topics. Community workshops can be customized as a class series to fit the needs of scout leaders, librarians, and other community members who want to bring unique art experiences to kids.
