BAMtheatre Summer Camps

BAMtheatre Summer Camps includes Broadway Tots for ages 2-5, Annie Kids for ages 5-14, Queens of the Castle for ages 8-14, Hits from KPop Demon Hunters for ages 6-14, Shrek for ages 5-14, Go Wild for ages 5-10, and Mary Poppins Jr for ages 8-16. Camp sessions run in the morning from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM or in the afternoon from 1:30 PM-4:30 PM, and some camps run one week while others run two weeks.

About the provider

BAMtheatre was founded in 2001. It is an award winning and nationally recognized educational theatre program in the Western Suburbs of Chicago. Its mission is to empower young artists through theatre education by cultivating upstanding, creative, and inspired young artists who work to make the world a better place, and to have every student discover personal growth in every BAM encounter.

• Summer Camps — Ages vary per camp session, generally 5-15; Tots camps ages 2-5; specific camps listed for ages 5-16 · Morning sessions 10:00 AM-1:00 PM; afternoon sessions 1:30 PM-4:30 PM; some camps run one week, some two weeks · Summer camps culminate with either a production or showcase revue. Listed camp types include Broadway Bound Camp, Showstopper Camp, and Triple Threat Camp.
• Broadway Tots — Ages 2-5 · Tots camps are the perfect introduction to theater and creativity for younger stars.
• Annie Kids — Ages 5-14 · Session 4C: July 13-17, 10:00 AM-1:00 PM; Session 4B/D: July 13-17, 1:30 PM-4:30 PM; Session 6B: August 3-7, 1:30 PM-4:30 PM · Broadway Bound Camp; students audition, rehearse, and perform an abbreviated musical at the end of the week.
• Queens of the Castle — Ages 8-14 · Session 4A: July 13-17, 10:00 AM-1:00 PM · Showstopper Camp; students learn songs and dances centered on the theme of the camp and perform in a show choir-style showcase at the end of the week.
• Hits from KPop Demon Hunters — Ages 6-9; Ages 10-14 · Session 5A (Ages 10-14): July 20-24, 10:00 AM-1:00 PM; Session 5B (Ages 6-9): July 20-24, 1:30 PM-4:30 PM; Session 6C (Ages 6-9): Aug. 3-7, 10:00 AM-1:00 PM; Session 7B (Ages 6-9): Aug. 10-14, 1:30 PM-4:30 PM · Showstopper Camp; students learn songs and dances centered on the theme of the camp and perform in a show choir-style showcase at the end of the week.

Tuition for BAM programs is non-refundable and non-transferable. If a participant notifies BAM in writing 30 days prior to the start of a program, or within 24 hours of registering, it is possible to transfer tuition to another available program within 12 months. A cancellation fee of $50 will be applied. Credits can be applied to BAM Productions and Classes. Credits cannot be applied to Private Lessons or tickets. Ticketing and credit card transaction fees are non-refundable. Scholarships are available; no child should be turned away because of financial hardship. Ages listed are suggested.
