The DuPage Art League is a not-for-profit art school and gallery. The school and gallery includes a gift shop offering pottery, jewelry, sculpture, small paintings, prints, and wearable fiber arts created by members. Monthly Gallery I shows are judged and presented in person, and each judged show offers 17 awards, including one Best of Show, one Theme Award, three Special Merit Awards, and twelve Merit Awards. In November and December, the galleries are reserved for the Yuletide Treasures gift shop, which features reasonably priced gift and fine craft items created by members. An online gallery features monthly winners for Best of Show, Theme, and Special Merit.

Summer Session A classes start June 1, 2026, with member sign-up beginning Saturday, May 16 at 2:00 pm and non-member sign-up beginning Wednesday, May 20, 2026. The Plein Air Painters group meets Friday mornings from May through October. Monday Night Artist Demonstrations are offered on the third Monday of every month from September through April (except December), and these free Monday Night Open Demonstrations are sometimes hybrid (in person or via Zoom) or virtual-only via Zoom. The school and gallery are open weekdays from 9am to 5pm and Saturday from 9am to 2pm (until 5pm in December), and are closed Sunday and holidays. The gift shop is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturday from 9am to 2pm, and is closed Sunday and holidays.

The DuPage Art League states that its aim is to promote and encourage the visual arts through classes, workshops, gallery exhibits, free public fine arts programs, and scholarships to students. Monday Night Artist Demonstrations are offered in partnership with the Wheaton Public Library. Listed community contacts include Wheaton Public Library, Helen Plum Library in Lombard, Lisle Library, and Indian Prairie Public Library in Darien, and the organization notes that many artists look for ways to showcase their work beyond the DuPage Art League. Open calls and opportunities for artists include the City of Wheaton Logo Design Contest for Wheaton’s America 250 Celebration.
