About

DuPage Art League Classes include classes, workshops, gallery exhibits, free public fine arts programs, and Monday Night Artist Demonstrations. Monthly gallery shows are presented in person with judged entries, and an online gallery features monthly winners for Best of Show, Theme, and Special Merit. In November and December, the galleries are reserved for the Yuletide Treasures gift shop, which offers pottery, jewelry, sculpture, small paintings, prints, and wearable fiber arts created by members.

• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Winter Session B Classes start Feb. 23, with member registration beginning Jan. 31 and nonmember registration starting Feb. 4.

The DuPage Art League is a not-for-profit art school and gallery whose stated aim is to promote and encourage the visual arts through classes, workshops, gallery exhibits, free public fine arts programs, and scholarships to students. Each judged gallery show offers 17 prizes: one Best of Show, one Theme Award, three Special Merit Awards, and twelve Merit Awards. The June gallery show is by invitation only and is reserved for active volunteers at the Art League. Monday Night Artist Demonstrations are offered on the third Monday of every month from September through April (except December) and are available as a hybrid presentation in person or via Zoom, or as a virtual-only presentation via Zoom. Monday Night Artist Demonstrations are offered in partnership with the Wheaton Public Library, and open calls and opportunities for artists include Wheaton Library, Helen Plum Library in Lombard, Lisle Library, Indian Prairie Public Library in Darien, Chicago Artists Coalition, and Call For Entry. All donations and gifts to the League are tax deductible.
