About
The People’s Resource Center Art Program offers free art classes where participants do painting, ceramics, collage, visual arts, and other arts and crafts. Local artists teach these classes in person or virtually, and paints, brushes, easels, and other art supplies are provided for the lessons. Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothes that they would not mind getting dirty, especially for painting classes.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Classes are offered on various days and times, with options taught at two locations or virtually, including schedules such as the December Art Schedule and the January 2026 Art Schedule.
• Price: Free art programs for clients, including free art classes for DuPage County residents.
Since 1975, People’s Resource Center has been bringing neighbors together to respond to hunger and poverty in DuPage County. The People’s Resource Center community exists to respond to basic human needs, promote dignity and justice, and create a future of hope and opportunity for the residents of DuPage County, Illinois. Local artists teach painting, ceramics, collage, and other classes, and PRC sponsors art exhibitions that give participants the chance to see their work on display in the community. The program offers free art programs for clients, including special sessions dedicated to families and women, and 516 DuPage adult and child residents engaged in art classes at PRC last year. People’s Resource Center is a 501(c)(3).
