About
The People’s Resource Center Art Program offers art classes where participants work in painting, ceramics, collage, and other visual arts. Local artists teach these art classes, and paints, brushes, easels, and other art supplies are provided for the lessons. Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothes that they would not mind getting dirty, especially for painting classes.

Since 1975, People’s Resource Center has been bringing neighbors together to respond to hunger and poverty in DuPage County. The People’s Resource Center community exists to respond to basic human needs, promote dignity and justice, and create a future of hope and opportunity for the residents of DuPage County, Illinois. The program offers free art programs for clients, including special sessions dedicated to families and women, and art classes are available for both adults and children, taught either at PRC locations or virtually. PRC sponsors art exhibitions that give participants the chance to see their work on display in the community and is the beneficiary of the 2026 BAPS Charities Walk and Run, which takes place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at McCaslin Park in West Chicago. The organization’s leadership includes PRC CEO Jenifer Fabian, Director of Leadership Giving Michelle Clegg, and board members Kunal Vora and Ingrid Becton.
