Loyola Academy Sports Camps offer sports camp programs where young boys and girls learn and develop skills in their chosen sport. The camps take place in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere and give participants a chance to meet Loyola Academy coaches and other boys and girls who are part of the Loyola community. Loyola Academy offers 34 different sports and over 80 athletic teams, which support the range of sports camp options available.
Loyola Academy was founded in 1909 as a co-educational college preparatory school rooted in the Jesuit, Catholic tradition of St. Ignatius of Loyola. The sports camp programs follow a stated goal of helping young boys and girls learn and develop skills that will help them compete at a higher level in their given sport while connecting with the Loyola community. The program leadership includes Mr. Robert Desherow ’93, who serves as Assistant Athletic Director and Head Football Coach.
