John White Stables Riding Academy focuses on training Arabian and Half-Arabian English Pleasure and Country English Pleasure performance horses for Amateur and Open competition. The program includes a competitive training program and an instruction program that work with English performance horses, as well as amateur and youth equitation riders. Activities include training, riding, and driving in open competition.

John White Stables Riding Academy is described as a full service training facility that has turned out dozens of champions, and riders from the program have won multiple national championships year after year. Owner Lisa Jo White grew up riding and showing Arabians in Michigan and was showing against adults at the U.S. Nationals at age eleven. By age seventeen, she had won 491 championships in stock seat and saddle seat equitation, English pleasure, western pleasure, side saddle, and native costume. After graduating from Michigan State University, she met John White in 1990, and following his death in 2009 she has continued to operate and manage John White Stables. Lisa offers a competitive training and instruction program that specializes in English performance horses and amateur and youth equitation riders, and she is a nationally recognized judge who has judged numerous Class A competitions, regional championships, Scottsdale, Canadian nationals, and the National Academy Equitation Championships. The Arabian public has awarded her the Arabian Horse Times Reader's Choice Instructor of the Year Award for the last three years mentioned, and her professional peers named her the Arabian Professional and Amateur Horsemen's Association's Instructor of the Year for 2010, 2011, and 2013.
