Lotus Blossoms is an annual four-week series that features artist workshops and performances. The program brings culturally diverse music and arts experiences to participants through these workshops and performances.

The Lotus Blossoms program connects world artists directly with children and community members in South-Central Indiana every spring. It supports more than 12,000 kids in the Indiana Uplands with access to diverse music and art experiences and supplemental music, art, and STEM education in their classrooms. The Lotus Education & Arts Foundation began with the first Lotus Festival in 1994. The organization’s leadership includes Executive Director Katarina Koch and Artistic Director Tamara Loewenthal. Lotus Blossoms has been awarded an Indiana Arts Commission grant as part of an investment of over $3.5 million to strengthen communities through art and creativity. The Lotus Education & Arts Foundation has announced a partnership with the MCCSC STEAM/CS team for its 2024 Lotus Blossoms spring programming.
