The Davis Academy of Music offers music lessons, online lessons, and self-study courses. The program also provides instrument rentals, a group make-up class option, opportunities to join a band, and Spring concerts.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Spring 2026 semester runs from Monday, January 5th through Sunday, May 31st, with Spring Break from March 16th–22nd and Spring concerts on May 23rd and May 30th; an 8-week summer semester runs June 1st–July 31st, and the fall semester begins August 1st.
• Price: Cost of music lessons ranges from $19–$800 per year, with instrument rentals from $29.00–$59.00.
The Davis Academy of Music offers private, individualized attention and a group make-up class, with options to enroll 100% online. Families can create a free account to make schedule changes, pay for lessons, and track repertoire, notes, and comments from coaches. The program offers a FREE Meet & Greet, online lessons and self-study courses worldwide, rent-to-own instrument rentals, and delivery of rented instruments to a school or reservation in the Bloomington shop. Available rental instruments include violins (1/16–4/4), violas 13”+, cellos (1/16–4/4), guitars (1/2, 3/4, 4/4), keyboards (61-key and 88-key), winds, brass, and more, with recurring 36-month rentals set up through the online shop.
The Davis Academy of Music was voted #1 music lessons in Bloomington, Indiana.
