Carmel Swim Academy Swim Lessons offers swim lessons that focus on swimming and learning safety through the four competitive strokes. The program uses a proprietary curriculum, and swimmers are grouped by age and ability with introductory, intermediate, and advanced classes for every age. Swim lessons use the same common language as Carmel Swim Club’s competitive team and are connected to Carmel Swim Club for a smooth transition to club, if desired.

The program is grounded in the mission of creating a safer, healthier, and stronger community through swimming, and in the idea that swimming is for everyone and everyone belongs at Carmel Swim Academy. CSA is not a franchised business; it is a hometown swim school built by five decades of experience at all levels of swimming and offers a proven pathway for learning to swim safely and effectively while staying connected with the water at every stage of life. Carmel Swim Academy is led by CEO and Head Coach Chris Plumb, who has coached at the highest levels of the sport and served on Team USA’s staff at the 2024 Olympic Games, along with Senior Director Nicole Stein, Director of Business Development Maggie Mestrich, and Aquatics Director Brittany Van Meter.
