About
Kids Explore Robotics offers weekly classes, monthly classes with kits, 3-month courses, summer camps, workshops, field trips, STEM birthday parties, and math classes. Kids in the program build and program real robots, design and build several unique robots, and work with original robots such as Robby the Drummer, which can play drum beats and has code that kids can modify. The program also offers a free 1-hour class, a free tour and Build-a-Robot Workshop, and a Build-a-Robot Workshop where every robot is custom-made using simple wooden blocks and 3D-printed parts.
• Ages: 6–18 years old
• Schedule: Monthly Classes + Kits meet 1 hour per week (4 times per month) live online or by video; 3-Month Courses include 12 weekly one-hour live instructor-led classes; Summer Camps run as a 5-day long camp.
Kids Explore Robotics offers a full learning journey from understanding parts to building fully functional robots, using open-concept designs and step-by-step lessons. The program includes more than 20 custom-designed robots made for learning and fun, with new robotics kits each month in the Monthly Classes + Kits and multiple robots included in the 5-day summer camps. Projects with Video Classes include video lessons that can be followed at a student’s own pace, and a Robotics Kit & Video Class Bundle has been featured on Kylee Makes It.
Kids Explore Robotics was founded by an experienced engineer father and his son, who was a high school student at the time and is now an engineering student. The program is led by Mr. Vinod Agrawal, who has a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, over 25 years of professional experience in manufacturing, finance, insurance, and education, and prior experience as a math tutor. His son, Mr. Aarav Agrawal, is co-founder and teacher, has held many in-person classes and camps, and has created a series of video lessons on YouTube.
Kids Explore Robotics LLC is associated with A+ TutorSoft Inc., and the founder also created A+ TutorSoft (A+ Interactive Math). The program states that its mission is to make robotics hands-on, engaging, and educational, giving kids the skills and confidence to create real robots from scratch. The organization invites partners to work with them to create custom robotics-based STEM and coding experiences tailored to specific needs and budgets.
Mr. Aarav Agrawal was Salutatorian for the Center Grove High School Class of 2024 and was selected as a candidate in the 2024 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, one of 5,000 candidates out of 3.6 million students expected to graduate in 2024. He has been recognized as a Bright Ideas student at the Central Indiana Business Hall of Fame Gala, invited to JA JobSpark and CareerIgnite events to discuss robotics with kids, and featured in Southside Times, Johnson County Icon, and Daily Journal. The Kids Explore Robotics and A+ TutorSoft entities have been active from at least 2021 through 2024, as indicated by their 2021–2024 copyright notice.
