Culver Summer Schools & Camps offers activities such as sailing, rocketry, theatre, fencing, and other forms of physical activity. Campers choose from 100 electives across the three camps offered in this program. The program includes Junior Woodcraft Camp, Woodcraft Camp, and Upper Schools.

• Schedule: Junior Woodcraft Camp is a four-day program from June 10–13, 2026; Woodcraft Camp runs June 19–August 1, 2026 as a six-week leadership development program and activity-based camp; Upper Schools runs June 19–August 1, 2026 as a six-week leadership development program and activity-based camp; office hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Culver Summer Schools & Camps is part of Culver Academies, which was established in 1894. The summer programs bring together more than 1,400 young people from around the world, with 1,500 campers coming from over 40 states and more than 35 countries. The program uses more than 200 sailboats, power boats, and personal watercraft, and it operates with 0 technological distractions. Junior Woodcraft Camp is a four-day program for children ages 7–9 that offers a “fun-sized” version of Woodcraft Camp. Woodcraft Camp is a six-week leadership development program and activity-based camp for youth ages 9–14, and Upper Schools is a six-week leadership development program and activity-based camp for youth ages 14–17. Culver Summer Schools & Camps includes a strong focus on the development of leadership skills. A Parent Portal is available for parents of enrolled campers, and summer employment opportunities are available as part of the Culver Summer Schools & Camps summer staff.
Culver Academies is a co-educational, residential experience for students in grades 9–12, and Culver Military Academy is a military high school in Indiana. Culver has taught wisdom, courage, moderation, and justice on horseback since 1897, and its equestrians have made 18 presidential inaugural appearances. Culver offers five Distinguished Merit Scholarships. Culver’s mission states that it educates its students for leadership and responsible citizenship in society by developing and nurturing the whole individual – mind, spirit, and body – through integrated programs that emphasize the cultivation of character.
