All City of Fishers camp staff are certified in CPR and First Aid, and City of Fishers Camps follow American Camp Association (ACA) guidelines for camper-to-staff ratios, including 1 staff for every 5 campers ages 3–4, 1 for every 6 campers ages 5–6, 1 for every 8 campers ages 7–8, and 1 for every 10 campers ages 9–14. The Fishers Summer Camp Open House on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. is a relaxed, self-paced event where families can learn more, meet staff, pick up camp shirts, and see sample activities. The program’s mission is to champion a healthy, vibrant, and inclusive community through fun, recreation, and social activities, and it is part of a broader community effort that includes alignment with the city’s Culture of Health initiative and on-site health services from the Fishers Health Department.

The leadership team includes Director Mike Lindbloom; Assistant Director Marion Fowler; Membership Manager Jen Mealy; Assistant Membership Manager Emily Wright; Health and Fitness Manager Jenna Hass; Assistant Health & Fitness Manager Natalie Aguilar; Aquatics Manager Paula Hardin; Assistant Aquatics Manager Garland Wilson; and Business Manager Debbie Keranova. Families are asked to send campers with a labeled reusable water bottle, a shelf-stable lunch, two snacks, sunscreen, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, a backpack, an extra set of clothes, and the required Fishers Camp shirt each day, and campers are strongly encouraged to leave electronics such as cell phones, tablets, gaming devices, and smartwatches at home. Fishers residents and non-residents can sign up for a free Community Pass to access the indoor track and indoor playground at the Fishers Community Center.
