Fishers Camps offers themed activities, outdoor adventures, hands-on crafts, team games, and creative projects such as painting and crafting. Camp options also include specific enrichment experiences like Bowling Camp, Cooking Camp, Hoosier Heights Camp, and Urban Air Camp.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Half Day Camps run from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and Full Day Camps run from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with Fishers Summer Camp dates from June 1 to July 31, 2026.
• Price: Fishers residents get a discount on all camp locations besides the Fishers Community Center, only Fishers Community Center members receive discounted pricing on camps hosted at the Fishers Community Center, and a $20 non-refundable deposit is required per child, per week at the time of registration.
Fishers Camps are available during Fall Break, Winter Break, Spring Break, and Summer, with types of camps that include Full Day, Half Day, and Enrichment options. Fishers Summer Camps are available for children ages 3 and up, with Half Day camps for preschoolers ages 3–5 and creative, week-long camps at Fishers Art Center for ages 4 to 18 that offer both half-day and full-day options. Campers are grouped by age, typically in groups of ages 5–6, 7–9, and 10–12, with typical camper-to-staff ratios of 1:5 for ages 3–4, 1:6 for ages 5–6, 1:8 for ages 7–8, and 1:10 for ages 9–14. All City of Fishers camp staff are certified in CPR and First Aid, and City of Fishers Camps follow the American Camp Association (ACA) guidelines for camper-to-staff ratios.
The Fishers Summer Camp Open House on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. allows families to meet counselors and managers, pick up camp shirts, and experience sample activities. Camp registration for 2026 uses the same registration platform previously used by Fishers Parks, with returning campers able to log in using an existing account and new campers creating a new account. Families can submit camp change, transfer, cancellation, and buddy requests via a Summer Camp Request Form, and verbal, email, phone, or in-person requests are not accepted.
The Fishers Community Center spans 105,000 square feet and includes an indoor playground, indoor track, aquatics center, sports courts, sauna, fitness center, Sahm’s Community Café, and community rooms, and both Fishers residents and non-residents can sign up for a free Community Pass to access the indoor track and indoor playground. Dog park memberships are available for presale. The Fishers Community Center is aligned with the city’s Culture of Health initiative, and the Fishers Health Department is located on the first floor and provides flu and COVID vaccinations, testing, and other health services. The Fishers Community Center was created by the community, for the community, with Fishers residents’ needs and well-being guiding its creation, design, and construction.
The program’s mission is “to champion a healthy, vibrant, and inclusive community through fun, recreation, and social activities,” and its vision is “a dynamic, year-round destination where all thrive physically, socially, and emotionally, a place for support and inspiration.” The leadership team includes Director Mike Lindbloom; Assistant Director Marion Fowler; Membership Manager Jen Mealy; Assistant Membership Manager Emily Wright; Health and Fitness Manager Jenna Hass; Assistant Health & Fitness Manager Natalie Aguilar; Aquatics Manager Paula Hardin; Assistant Aquatics Manager Garland Wilson; and Business Manager Debbie Keranova.
Campers are asked to bring a reusable water bottle labeled with their name, a shelf-stable lunch, two snacks (one morning and one afternoon), sunscreen applied before camp and packed for reapplication when weather allows, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing, closed-toe shoes, a backpack, and an extra set of clothes, with all items labeled. Fishers Camps do not provide meals or snacks. Campers are asked to wear their Fishers Camp shirt daily, clothes that can get messy, and optionally a hat or sunglasses and layers on cooler mornings, and electronics such as cell phones, tablets, gaming devices, and smartwatches are strongly encouraged to be left at home.
