Indy Hoops Academy offers team league play with structured practices and weekly games, an Indy Hoops Developmental League for CYO and private school players, and a pathway for AAU athletes to compete on the Adidas 3SSB circuit. The program also runs small group sessions for grades 3 and up that focus on ball handling, form shooting, and essential fundamentals, along with multi-sport camps and basketball training camps.

Howe in 2018–2019, finishing 17–6 with all eight seniors receiving scholarships to play basketball. Coach Ralph Smith played at Indiana University from 2010–2014, has led nationally ranked AAU teams, has taken on roles as a high school coach, and since 2014 has trained athletes from kindergarteners to professional players, both domestically and internationally. Coach Don Davenport played high school basketball at Northwest (Indianapolis) in 2006–2007, junior college basketball at Ancilla College in 2007–2008, at Purdue Calumet in 2008–2009, and at IU Northwest from 2010–2012, and has coached 8th grade at Broad Ripple Middle School in 2014 and 5th grade boys at St. Lukes in 2017.
