Indiana Gymnastics Center Programs was founded in 2007 and has been providing both boys and girls recreational and competitive gymnastics since 2007. Indiana Gymnastics Center was founded by Pete and Chandi Robinson in 2007, and Chad and Lynn Ford came on in 2016. IGC joined forces with Tiffany's Dance & Cheer after the negative impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, and the current building is 8 miles from the former Eastview Dr. location in Franklin, Indiana. The current facility has 11,000 square feet, compared with the former 10,000 square foot facility.
The facility is fully equipped to support both boys and girls programs, with equipment for all boys and girls competitive gymnastics events including uneven bars, high bars, parallel bars, balance beam, vault, pommel horse, still rings, two in-ground trampolines, a tumble track, a tumble strip, a pit, and airbags. It is the only gymnastics gym in the Indianapolis area equipped with an airbag and the only gym within 30 miles that provides a fully equipped facility for both boys and girls competitive programs. Hard surfaces are covered by foam or landing mats to reduce the likelihood of injuries. Mobile app access is available through the iClassPro mobile app for Apple and Android devices.
The stated goal of Indiana Gymnastics Center Programs is to focus on gymnastics while teaching each child self-confidence and life skills that will help them be successful in life beyond gymnastics, and this goal is described as being at the core of everything they do. For coaches, experience working with children is preferred, and being well organized and committed to helping children grow in their skills is described as a plus, and the program states that it trains staff.
