The American Red Cross Swimming + Water Safety Programs offer Basic Swim Instructor and Water Safety Instructor® courses. The Water Safety Instructor® course trains instructor candidates to teach all courses in the Swimming and Water Safety program to all age groups, including Learn-to-Swim Levels 4-6 and Adult Swim.
Programs
- Basic Swim Instructor — Participants must be at least 15 years of age by the end of the course.
- Water Safety Instructor® — Participants must be at least 15 years of age by the end of the course. · Trains instructor candidates to teach all courses in the Swimming and Water Safety program to all age groups, including Learn-to-Swim Levels 4-6 and Adult Swim.
