From the beginning, Indy Eleven has looked to create a team representative of Indiana that forms strong emotional connections with its fans. The organization’s history includes the official announcement of professional soccer’s return to the Circle City on January 16, 2013, under the initial name Indy Pro Soccer, the adoption of the Indy Eleven identity on April 25, 2013, and the club’s inaugural game on April 12, 2014. Indy Eleven announced a move to the then-United Soccer League (now USL Championship) on January 10, 2018, followed by a move to Lucas Oil Stadium as its home on January 29, 2018, and then a return to Carroll Stadium for the 2021 USL Championship season announced in January 2021. Under the guidance of Indy Eleven coaches, players at the camps and clinics go through sessions that test them physically and mentally, and these clinics are described as a fun and competitive first step in chasing the dream of wearing the Indy Eleven jersey.
