Camps at the Museum includes themed activities, museum gallery visits, outdoor recess, free choice time, hands-on activities, discovery and play. Seasonal options include Winter Break Camps, Spring Break Camps, Summer Camps and Fall Break Camps, with a summer lineup that includes more than 30 single-day and weeklong camps.
• Ages: 4–13 years old
• Schedule: Camps run from 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with free time from 8–9 a.m. and 3:45–5 p.m. for Winter and Fall Break Camps, and from 8–9 a.m. and 4–5 p.m. for Spring Break Camps.
• Price: Winter, Spring and Fall Break Camps are $65 per camper per day with a 10% member discount, $5 sibling discount and $10/day scholarships; Summer Early Childhood Camps are $30 per camper per day or $130 per camper per week with a 10% member discount and $5 sibling discount; Summer Youth Camps are $65 per camper per day or $265 per camper per week with a 10% member discount, $5 sibling discount, and scholarships of $10/day or $50/week.
The program is part of a museum and historic site system that includes 11 historic sites across Indiana. The mission of the organization is: “We ignite wonder, inspire curiosity, reveal stories and create connections.” Members receive a 10% discount on camp registration fees and access to early registration before nonmembers. Leadership connected to education and camps includes the VP of Education and Engagement, the Senior Early Childhood Program Manager, the Gallery Program Manager, the Public Programs Manager (family and adult), the Camp Program Manager and the Program & Partnership Manager.
