Creative Grounds Fine Arts Academy offers auditions, shows, classes, camps, productions, music lessons, and set build activities. The program includes theater productions in which everyone who auditions is included in the show in some capacity. It is an educational theater arts program that is values based and focuses on growth, relationships, and community.

Creative Grounds Fine Arts Academy, Inc. began as Center Grove Fine Arts Academy, an extension of the Worship Ministry of Center Grove Church, with its first production, Godspell Jr., in January 2014 and 30 students participating. In 2018, it became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and in August 2019 the organization became Creative Grounds Fine Arts Academy. By Spring 2018, the production of Mary Poppins had over 150 students participating in the show. The organization is led by Executive Director Mark Landis. The program serves the metro area of Indianapolis and is the Theatre in Residence for the University of Indianapolis, with a Production Center used for classes and administrative tasks. Its mission states that it aims to build students up to impact the community and the world around them, with a goal that actors grow to be leaders in the community and that the program feels like a community when the show is done. The mission also states that the program values students, does not cut students from shows, and strives to strengthen relationships and grow those who attend. Testimonials describe the talent level as exceeding expectations for theater programs, note that the students appear very professional on stage, and state that the professionalism and quality of the shows exceeded expectations for a kids production.
