The program is an educational theater arts program and a Theatre in Residence for the University of Indianapolis, and it states that anyone ages 8–18 is eligible to participate in the shows and that everyone who auditions will be included in the production in some capacity. According to its mission statement, it is a values based program that focuses on growth and relationships, aims to build character, work ethic, and social bonds, and seeks to strengthen relationships and grow those who attend, with a goal that students and families will grow as leaders in the community and feel like a community when the show is done.
