Dana Mannix Gymnastics is a gymnastics program that operates at the Dana Mannix Gymnastics Center, which is described as a friendly, caring, clean facility. The program follows the motto “Where every child is a star” and has been part of the community for over 30 years.
Dana Mannix Gymnastics Center was first incorporated on March 1, 1993. The program has always been described as being about family, with a goal of making each family feel at home in the facility. The mission statement of Dana Mannix Gymnastics is to serve and enhance each person they have the opportunity to serve physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
Dana, the founder and coach, began coaching gymnastics as a junior coach at the age of 13 at the Graves Center YMCA in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Dana and her husband, Charlie, have 5 children and 4 grandsons. The program states that it strives to serve customers the way the staff would like to be treated and views each customer as a “gift,” with the desire for families to feel the difference when they enter the facility. There is a painting over the front doors as families leave that reads, “As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord. We hope we served you well.” The program has thanked families for celebrating 30 years with them.
