Dance Creations Academy offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary dance, along with early childhood programs. Students participate in a Spring Performance that includes multiple dance styles.

Dance Creations Academy has over 30 years of experience and operates as a Christ-centered, Christian-based studio that emphasizes values such as respect and teamwork in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. The studio offers a Parent Portal, Staff Portal, and Studio Calendar, and a trial class is available. Students may make up any missed class in an age- and level-appropriate class, and make up classes expire after 1 month.
The leadership team includes Miss Melissa (Director & Instructor), Miss Stephanie (Instructor), Mrs. Priest (Instructor), Miss Cami (Instructor), Miss Shannon (Instructor), Miss Holloway (Instructor), and Miss Christina (Instructor). Melissa McInnis holds a B.A. (magna cum laude) in Dance and Performance Studies from Roger Williams University and is PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique) Certified. Stephanie Lusch holds a BA in dance from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN, and Stephanie held the title of Mrs. Indiana America 1999. Mrs. Priest holds a B.A. and M.A. (magna cum laude) in dance from Butler University in Indianapolis. Miss Cami graduated summa cum laude from Anderson University with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish and is PBT Certified. Miss Shannon has a Masters Degree in Social Work, and Miss Holloway graduated from Butler University with a Dance and Arts Administration degree.
Dance Creations Academy states that its mission is to provide a loving, disciplined atmosphere where students are encouraged to develop their dance and performance skills through solid technical training. Dance Creations Academy has established itself as a cornerstone of the community.
Students must follow the dress code for classes, except during short summer sessions or camps, and detailed dress code requirements are provided in a separate document. Costumes are ordered through dance catalogs in December, and students are measured for costumes in November each year. For younger students, 2 inches are added to costume measurements to allow room for growth, the costume fee is debited from the account on November 15, costumes are not custom-made and may require alterations, pants may require hemming, and some accessories may need to be attached by a parent. Combination class students perform one dance number in the Spring Performance.
Dance Creations Academy reserves the right to terminate lessons of any student for any reason. Parents, legal guardians, students, and adult students waive the right to legal action for any injury sustained resulting from normal dance activity or any other activity conducted by the students, their family, or friends before, during, or after class time at Dance Creations Academy property or at any performance venues, and all students are responsible for all costs resulting from any injury sustained at the studio or any performance location.
