Dana Mannix Gymnastics offers a variety of activities, including Gymnastics, Tumbling, Ninja, Cheer, and Pre-School gymnastics, with options for girls, boys, and adults. The program also offers Daytime Playtime, Clinics, Saturday Night Out, Homeschool Classes, Makeups, Private Lessons, Team Girls Competitive Team, Rec Teams, Ninja Team, and All-Star Cheer. Dana Mannix Gymnastics Center was first incorporated on March 1, 1993. The program states that it has always been about family and that its goal is to make each family feel at home in a friendly, caring, clean facility. Its mission statement is to serve and enhance each person it has the opportunity to serve physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. The program states that it strives to serve customers the way the staff would like to be treated and views each customer as a “gift,” with the aim that families feel the difference when they enter the facility. A painting over the front doors as families leave reads, “As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord. We hope we served you well.” The program also notes, “Where every child is a star,” and thanks families for celebrating 30 years with them.
Dana, the founder and a coach, began coaching gymnastics as a junior coach at the age of 13 at the Graves Center YMCA in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Dana and her husband, Charlie, have 5 children and 4 grandsons.
