Established in 1922, Herron's Saturday School offers high-quality art instruction to children and adults. Enrollment is divided into four groups: grades 1–4, grades 5–8, grades 9–12, and ages 18 and up. Students in grades 4 or 8 may submit a portfolio to move into a higher group. Scholarships are available for students in grades 1 through 12, and Indiana University affiliates and Indiana educators receive a 10% discount on all summer programming enrollments. Saturday School is currently on pause as new staff members are welcomed, with plans to offer opportunities for artists of all ages in 2026. A culminating student art show is held in Eskenazi Hall rooms HR 259 and HR 269 at the conclusion of Saturday School.
