Indianapolis Suzuki Academy

Indianapolis Suzuki Academy offers weekly private lessons and regular group classes for students. The program includes student performance opportunities such as Solo Recitals, as well as a listening challenge and a practice challenge called the Leaky Bucket Practice Challenge. Students can also take part in special events including HS Violins @ Musical Trails at Brookside Park, Harp Day, and a Harp Master Class with Grace Roepke.

The mission of Indianapolis Suzuki Academy is “to nurture beautiful character in every child through excellence in music.” The leadership team includes Board of Directors members Ms. Casey Chell, Ms. Kristina Davis, and Mr. Cody Whitesell. The academy notes its community involvement by thanking its sponsors and community partners. One parent, Samar R., shares that “The Suzuki philosophy of ‘every child can’ is alive and well at ISA, providing my girls with wonderful lessons in self-confidence and the value of hard work. Some songs take months to complete, others take days - through it all our teacher has always been patient and nurturing, never losing faith in our girls' ability to achieve.”
