Indy Eleven Youth Camps & Clinics focuses on soccer skills including passing, dribbling, shooting, combination play, and positional play. Youth camp activities follow specific daily themes such as dribbling with control, turns, and change of direction; passing and receiving; dribbling for speed; and a review of the week. Elite camp activities follow themes including defending in the back half, attacking in the front half, defending in the front half, and attacking in the back half.
• Ages: 5–14 years old
• Schedule: Youth Camp Themes run Monday through Thursday with daily focuses, and Elite Camp Themes also run Monday through Thursday with different daily focuses.
The Youth Camps & Clinics mission states a focus on developing, practicing, and mastering techniques by maximizing touches for each player, with fundamentals such as passing, dribbling, shooting, combination play, and positional play taught through fun activities, healthy competition, and purposeful instruction. The Elite Camps & Clinics mission states a focus on increasing development in technical and tactical skills through high-level competition and activity, with sessions that challenge players physically and mentally while advancing individual ability on the ball and understanding of tactical movement. All participants receive an Indy Eleven t-shirt, and participants in four-day camps also receive an Indy Eleven mini ball, two tickets to an Indy Eleven game, player appearances, and opportunities to watch Indy Eleven’s first team train as the schedule allows. An 11% discount per player is available for team registrations completed directly with Ryan Duffy, Director of Youth Development & Club Liaison. Indy Eleven’s leadership connected to the program includes Ryan Duffy, Director of Youth Development & Club Liaison, and Ersal Ozdemir, Keystone Group CEO.
Indy Eleven’s history includes the official return of professional soccer to the Circle City on January 16, 2013, adoption of the Indy Eleven identity on April 25, 2013, and its inaugural game on April 12, 2014. The club announced a move to the then-United Soccer League (now USL Championship) on January 10, 2018, and a move to Lucas Oil Stadium on January 29, 2018, followed by a move back to Carroll Stadium for the 2021 USL Championship season announced in January 2021. The organization states that from the beginning it has looked to create a team representative of Indiana that forms strong emotional connections with its fans, including Indiana’s youth and adult soccer community and active young adult urban and ethnic populations.
